The Droid RAZR is the newest Droid and is amazingly thin at 7.1mm it’s thinner then the Galaxy s2 and looks even better with the Droid RAZR’s kevlar backing.

The Droid RAZR is packing a 1.2GHz dual core processor with Gorilla glass over the impressive 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED screen.  This baby can shoot 8MP still pictures and take full HD 1080p video.  It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with the optional microSD slot for even more.

Motorola is releasing some special built in software that helps you manage your battery life and even scales down the cpu power when you’re on the phone….lots of smart features that will no doubt be carried over to other phones in the future for battery optimization.

The Droid RAZR picture has been released on the web and is looking pretty impressive. The super thin profile, kevlar backing and camera hump give it a look between the Motorola Atrix 2 and the Droid X.

At this point we know the Droid RAZR has full HD 1080p video and an 8MP camera probably running Android 3.2+. MicroSD card for up to 32GB of extra storage and blazing fast download speeds with 4G LTE capability.  Also wifi hotspot, 1GB of RAM and at least a 1.5GHz processor to keep up with the rest of the slew of kickass Android phones that have been released.

The Droid RAZR does not have a release date as of this morning…but it sounds like today will be the announcement of the phone and release date.
